RSA announces key appointments in Liability in Europe

Marilyne Furlan promoted to European Head of Liability Lines and Frédérique Roeder to French Liability Manager

RSA Luxembourg S.A. is today announcing that Marilyne Furlan has been appointed as its new Head of Liability Lines.

Marilyne has over 20 years’ experience in the Commercial insurance industry and has been leading the Liability team in RSA France for the past six years, giving her a wealth of experience to lead successfully the Casualty and Financial Lines portfolios in Europe going-forward.

She will assume this newly created European role with immediate effect, reporting to Corentin Maurice, Chief Underwriting Officer of RSA Luxembourg S.A.

Marilyne has a BA (hons) in International Business Administration. After her studies in London, she worked at AXA Corporate Solutions in Paris for 17 years in several underwriting functions on Liability products (D&O, General Liability, Professional Indemnity and Environmental risks). Prior to joining RSA France, she was Head of Liability Underwriting and Environment for the French and Benelux markets at AXA Corporate Solutions.

Following this promotion, RSA is also announcing that Frédérique Roeder is appointed as Liability Manager for RSA in France. Frédérique joined RSA France in 2012 as a Casualty Underwriter and the Regional South East Manager. She holds a Master's degree in Business Law and an Insurance Law degree at the Institut des Assurances de Lyon and has a 25 years’ experience.

Corentin Maurice, Chief Underwriting Officer of RSA Luxembourg S.A., said:

Commenting on Marilyne Furlan’s appointment, Corentin also added:
